Local Missions

Scripture tells us we cannot be saved in deeds of service without faith in Christ, but our faith lacks sincerity if it doesn’t reach out to others, both internally and externally.  God says he wants our service to go beyond our personal growth to acts of kindness, charity, justice and generosity.

At First Presbyterian, some make casseroles.  Some provide transportation, repair homes, send cards or financial help.  Others participate in active prayer groups.  Regardless of the gifts at our disposal, each one of us is called to offer those gifts back to God by SERVING ONE ANOTHER.
